The unemployment you received from the government and the state in 2020 is TAXABLE INCOME, in case some of you didn’t know that.
“A recent survey found that 38% of Americans receiving unemployment benefits were unaware that the money was taxable. The same report shows that two-thirds of those people hadn’t set aside or withheld money from the payment for their 2020 income taxes.”
You have until January 31st to make an estimated payment to the IRS for the taxes due on that (in case you had no taxes withheld from either source of unemployment). If you wait until a later date there is a good chance you will be penalized for not paying enough in.
